Amish farms are nestled amongst the scenery on your drive into the village and invite you to slow down and enjoy the sights. The Quakers settled in Chesterhill in 1843 and made it a sanctuary for the formerly enslaved traveling toward freedom on the Underground Railroad. The Multi-Cultural Genealogical Center was set up as a constant reminder of Chesterhill's rich history. The annual Fireman's Festival is a celebration of community with a parade, food, and games. It happens every second Saturday in July. The Chesterhill Produce Auction can be found just outside of the village limits. Hundreds of growers utilize the auction as a place to sell their locally grown produce, locally raised livestock, and locally made wood products at wholesale to other businesses in the region. ?Grab a bite to eat at the Triple Nickel Diner.
